Bird Kills Continued

After researching the amount of birds killed per year by turbines, I found that many more birds are killed from windows and buildings. The reason for this has to be because there are so many more buildings in the country than wind farms. According to the American Bird Conservatory, each turbine in the country kills one to 7.5 birds per year. That means that as more turbines are constructed, more and more birds will suffer. For example, if there are currently 1,000 wind turbines and each turbine kills about 4 birds, 4,000 birds per year are dying. But as the industry grows, and there are 4,000 wind turbines, 16,000 birds will be killed per year. As the numbers grow, it will be harder to say that buildings kill that many more birds than wind farms do.
